I am an assistant professor in the KRDB group, at the Faculty of Computer Science, Free University of Bozen-Bolzano.

My research interests include Knowledge Representation using (combinations of) logics and logic programming, as well as application to the Semantic Web, and the relationship between KR and database technologies.

I am currently involved in the Rule Interchange Format working group, in which my personal goal is to make sure the working group produces a usable Semantic Web rules language; specifically, to make sure the language is compatible with RDF and OWL.
